How Big is Your God?

How Big is your God?

It has been said that the size of what any man will accomplish for God may be discovered by a single conversation where we discover the size of his God. Prayerfully ask yourself the honest question, How big is my God?

A. Is your God big enough to really hear and give great answers to your prayers? Is He big enough to protect you and your loved ones so that you can live free from worry in perfect trust?

B. Is your God big enough to see what you do in the dark when no one else is looking? Is He big enough to hold you accountable for your sin?

C. Is your God big enough to be in control of the sufferings and pain that enter your life? Is He big enough to accomplish good through what you can only see as bad? Is your God big enough to trust even when you can’t understand Him?

D. Is your God big enough to sovereignly control your God-given authority’s heart? Can you trust God enough to obey His commands to obey God ordained human authority, knowing God can direct even lost hearts to follow His ultimate will?

E. Is your God big enough to accomplish great things through someone as unworthy as you? Is your God big enough to reach your community through your local Church? Is He big enough to save anyone – including the wealthy and famous, the sinful and infamous, the intellectual skeptic, or even a family member or friend for whom you have prayed for years? Is your God big enough to change the World with His Gospel? Is He really the answer to the deepest needs of every heart, every marriage and family, and every nation?

F. Is your God so great that your heart falls down before Him in awe and worship at His majesty and greatness? Is He worthy of being first in and receiving any sacrifice of your time, your service, your obedience, and your treasure? Is His wisdom and love for you so great that you know that His answers are the answers for every need of your heart and life? Is your God big enough that He has the unquestioned right to rebuke your sin and tell you what to do? Is your God so big that you cannot help but surrender to Him as Lord of every area of your life?

The New Year

Well the new year is here. It seems like just yesterday it was last year. Well anyways, as the new year is here, maybe now is a good time for a new year motto.. "Surrender and win". For those who have not accepted Jesus as their LORD and Savior, Surrender your life to Him and you win. For the Christian, Surrender every area of your life to Him and you win. Being the biggest loser for Christ, makes us the biggest winner. May your new year be blessed in losing and surrendering.
